THE AGENDA: How USPS Could Rig The Election for Trump
Democrats Need to Demand Testimony from Postmaster General NOW
Every Monday, The Watchdog Report publishes THE AGENDA, a blueprint for Democrats in Congress to reassert themselves as a coequal branch of government. A lot of conversations are taking shape about what the Democrats’ Oversight/Corruption agenda should look like IF they take back the House or Senate in November. However, the way that Republicans are working to RIG, yes, I said RIG, the election, it is going to be an uphill fight for Democrats. We spend a lot of time (rightfully so), talking about the kinds of investigations that need to happen to unravel and expose the avalanche of corruption taking place in broad daylight, but what we need to shine the brightest light on between now and November are the ways in which the Trump Administration and Republicans will try and impact the election process itself.
That’s where we focus on this week’s edition of THE AGENDA:
CNN published a new report revealing: “State election officials could soon face a stark choice: Hand over voter lists to the Trump administration or risk losing Postal Service delivery for mail-in ballots.” You might recall that just a few months ago, President Trump signed an Executive Order that empowered the United States Postal Service (USPS) to determine who may vote by mail and instructs it to refuse to deliver ballots sent by anyone not included on newly created federal mail voter lists. As the Brennan Center for Justice noted the Executive Order “threatens criminal penalties for election officials, mail carriers, and others who send ballots to or deliver ballots from individuals the administration deems ineligible.”
Simply put, the USPS, in their zeal to “comply” with this EO, is about to inject unthinkable chaos into our elections by blocking eligible American citizens from voting while putting voting data into the hands of Trump Administration official who are using the guise of “election integrity” and “voter fraud” as justification for targeting demographics that tend to vote with Democrats.
This entire situation puts unthinkable powers into the hands of the US Postmaster General David Steiner. Jurisdiction over the USPS falls into the hands of the House Oversight Committee. Democrats on the Committee need to demand a public hearing with the Postmaster General to get him to answer questions about all of this on the public record. More than ballrooms, pay-for-play no-bid contracts, the Trump family finances, what is potentially happening at the USPS could have a larger role in the outcome of the election than anything that is dominating the national conversation right now. Get a hearing, and demand it right now, before it’s too late.

The convicted felon knows he is failing, and desperate. Desperate times, Desperate measures.
Democrats need to demand this for sure, but WTH about Republicans?!? Not all their constituents vote Republican. Now many Republicans Governors have already handed over voter data to this corrupt regime? We live in Idaho, I believe Gov Little did already. WE live 50 miles from Salmon Idaho, we vote by mail.
There is NO voting location in this precinct here in Lemhi County. There are 57 of us who live here, way off the grid, year-round. We are NOT going to drive 100 miles R/T to vote. It's 50 miles one-way a only once-a-week plowed by the County because the USFS refuses to maintain the road in the wintertime "budget cuts - excuses," and a 60 mile much more difficult direction if in November winter has arrived already. We only get mail delivered Monday, Wednesday and Friday (contractor with the USPS). If I put a letter in the mail box, it's generally picked up by noon, but doesn't get back to the P.O. in North Fork, ID before 3pm, so it actually doesn't go to Salmon, ID until the next morning by 11am. Then, the regional processing center is in either Boise, or Idaho Falls, so in actuality it would't get postmarked until 2 days after it leaves our mail box.
